CETAA, was formed in 1976 with the aim of establishing rapport with former students and the college and to have common programs which will be mutually beneficial.
CETAA now has about 15,000 members and is increasing every year. Now, CETAA has chapters at Chicago, Dubai, Delhi, Kuwait, Bangalore, America and Kochi.
Instituting awards and scholarships to reward excellence in curricular and extra curricular activities has been one of the major activities of CETAA. CETAA day celebration is carried out every year during November.
The CETAA General Body meeting conducted at CET, on 30 June decided to propose the construction of a Guest house with 3 star facilities at the campus for the guest faculty and CETAA members visiting the college for the various official purposes. College of engineering at present lacks such a facility and badly is in need for a guest accommodation which now depends on different hotels in the city. As suggested by Dr. J. David, Principal CET, the executive committee decided to proposed this project to CETAA members worldwide circles for their comments, approval and suggestions.
We suggest all CETAA members to respond to this regards.
