It has been decided to publish a souvenir commemorating the Platinum Jubilee of CET. The editorial committee members consider it our honour to be able to be a part of this. As a souvenir is a tribute to the past, it would be extremely helpful for the editorial committee members, if copies of previous souvenirs are available. In this regard, we have succeeded in collecting the Golden Jubilee and Diamond Jubilee Souvenirs. We are, however, in the lookout for a copy of the Silver Jubilee Souvenir and are hopeful those alumni who possess a copy would certainly help us in this regard.
The book gives a detailed account of the first 25 years (1939 - 1964) of CET along with very rare pictures that give nostalgic feelings. The book was launched by Er. PRS Murugan in the colorful event of CETAA Day 2013.
