Best incoming student in M.Tech - Microwave Engg. Instituted by : His colleagues of Electronics Department.
 Late Dr. N. Vasudevan Nair started his career as lecturer in Telecomunication and rose to the position of the Professor in the Department of Electronics. He took his M.Tech and Ph. D from I.I.T, Kharagpur in the field of Microwave Engineering and was instrumental in setting up labs in this field in all Government Colleges in the State. He served Colleges at Trivandrum, Trichur and Kannur as Head of Department of the Electronics & Communication Engineering and as Principal of the Colleges at Kottayam and Trivandrum during the period 1992 �1997.
Dr.N.V.Nair also served the School of Technology & Applied Sciences, M. G. University as its Director for an year.
Dr.N.V.Nair was a very friendly and admirable person with plenty of public relations and leadership qualities.
