Sri.U.G.Menon Late Sri.U.G.Menon was one of the leading Interior Designers and Furniture Manufacturers. Kerala House at New Delhi, Conference halls of KSIDC, KSBC and RBI are all a few among the many prestigious works undertaken by him.

Sri.U.G.Menon was the Fine Arts Expert for about 6 years in the Department of Architecture at College of Engineering. Later he resigned and started freelancing. He passed away in 1985 at the age of 42 leaving behind his mother Mrs. M.A.U Menon, wife Mrs. Vimala Menon & children Shyam G Menon & Yamuna Menon.

Prof. J. C. Alexander Memorial Endowment

For the Best outgoing student of Architecture. Instituted by : ARCHI TRUST, Dept. of Architecture.

Prof. J.C. Alexander The late Prof. J. C. Alexander took his post-graduation in Architecture from USA. He was handling several Civil Engg,. subjects in the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, when he was appointed as the first Chief Architect and Town-planner to Government of Kerala in 1957. He was instrumental in establishing the Department of Architecture in the College and also held additional charge as its first Professor. He has designed several prestigious buildings in the State including the Tagore Theater, Vazhuthacaud, Trivandrum, the Institution of Engineers building, and some buildings of the Trivandrum, Medical College. He also designed the present main building of the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. He was a good stage actor and musician and he had drawn up and executed several stage performances. His pioneering spirit has inspired many students and colleagues. He was an active consultant in Architecture till the end.
