C. K. Babu Memorial Endowment

Best outgoing student in Industrial Engg. Instituted by : Sri.C.K.Babu Memorial Benevolent Fund.

 
Prof. Babu.C.K. joined as Lecturer in Mechanical engineering at College of Engineering in 1983 and proved to be a good teacher and organizer. He was in charge of the Placement and Career Guidance Cell and played a major role in bringing it up to such a level to get placements for a good majority of the outgoing students. During his period, many were placed in companies in and outside India. He had also served as a faculty of the MBA and MCA courses of the University of Kerala.

Prof. Babu died in a road accident on 15th June 1998. He was survived by his wife and three children.

Manu Memorial Scholarship

For a deserving meritorious student hailing from a rural area with limited facilities and proved his hard work to become one among the top scorer during the 6th semester. Instituted by: 2007-2011 batch of Dept. of Mech. Engineering, to express  the loving memories of their beloved friend, Manu.

Manu was a brilliant student He joined in CET at 2007. He was very passionate about automobiles and was very knowledgeable about latest models, trends and technologies.

His favorite car was SHELBY GT500 FORD MUSTANG.

He had a very good craze in driving
